Taus Makhacheva

Taus Makhacheva was born in 1983. She is an artist based in Makhachkala, also a granddaughter of famous Avar poet Rasul Hamzatov. Having his higher education in London and Moscow, she walks in steps of art just like his grandfather. A participiant in Liverpool, Sharjah and Venice biennales, recipient of “Innovation” and “Future of Europe” awards, Taus talked to VarYox about her alterego “Super Taus”.
