“Decolonize your identity” series

A few weeks ago, I attended a reading with a title that stayed with me for days: The Library of Not-Knowing. A library is supposed to preserve and organize what we know, yet this one was built around forms of not-knowing, around things we may already know without being consciously aware of that knowledge. The notion suggests that some knowledge resists easy articulation. It cannot always be neatly categorized, explained, or passed on to others, even when it quietly shapes the way we see the world.

VarYox has created a series of children’s books and animations, Fistiq and Artemisa, and will continue developing stories that address some of the most important social topics of our time.

The “Green Train” exhibition brought together artists who explored the railway through the lenses of memory, connection, and ecological transformation. Rather than viewing the train solely as industrial infrastructure, the exhibition presented it as a living metaphor — one that carries personal histories, landscapes, and future possibilities.

Baku is the city of fountains — where water becomes the center of public life, a symbol of gathering, relaxation, and inspiration. Fountains are the living stages of the city, where the private and public intertwine: here people dream, argue, fall in love, and remember.
