Cassegrain needs no introduction in techno world. With their releases made with such influential labels as Prologue, Infrastructure New York, Killekill and others, they thoroughly inscribed their name in this area.
This group belongs to Alex Tsiridis and Huseyn Evirgen, who met at the Redbull Music Academy in Barcelona. At first, their cooperation was carried out via e-mail, but in subsequent years they moved to Berlin and established a studio there.
In 2016, the duo decides to create a label called “Arcing Seas”, breathing a new life into its past nickname. Under this label mainly their tracks, as well as remixes of such advanced artists of this genre as The Mover, Peder Mannerfelt and Shifted were produced.
They are remembered for their performances in influential techno clubs, ranging from Griessmuehle, Tresor, Berghain,: // about blank, Funkhaus Berlin, BASIS and ending with Bassiani.
Expanding their cooperation even further Tsiridis and Evirgen are working with other artists on joint projects. An example of this is their EPs with Tin Man. This collaboration proved so successful that it even aired online. It should be noted that Alex and Huseyn are also actively working on their solo projects.
Hussein Evirgen released his first track as Magna Pia via Counterchange label, and Alex as Rhyw via Tar Hallow and Shifted`s Avian labels.
Along with the above, Cassegrain made releases via such fundamental labels as Warm Up, Semantica, Bassiani, Dynamic Reflection, Konstrukt, Ostgut Ton.
