Ramin Kuliev – Overcast Head

For listeners who love mixes of classical, modern, electronic music elements, we present 4 tracks by composer Ramin Kuliev: Fear of loss, Hypnosis, Eternity, Overcast Head

His works embody classical music traditions, modern classics, minimalism, and modern electronic music. He thinks that the tracks he composed are not always easily accepted by the audience.

“In some of my tracks, I’ve used the sounds of the Earth and Saturn from NASA. When you listen to this music, you can get into space, you can forget, the music can make you swing, and you can feel something inside that swings you, and you can leave your body in this way. Each of these tracks was produced in 1-2 hours. I can’t say exactly what I was thinking about, but it just came.”

Ramin Kuliev was born in 1990 and grew up in Baku. He studied piano at the 35th Sharoev Music School, in the class of legendary composer and teacher Arif Malikov at Baku Music Academy, and later at the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. He currently lives in the Czech Republic.
