First Gender Equality Prize in Azerbaijan
The French and German Embassy in Azerbaijan are jointly launching the first French-German Gender Equality Prize. This Prize aims at rewarding an Azerbaijani initiative that contributes to gender equality in Azerbaijan. Please submit your application by 20th April 2021.
Who can participate? All Azerbaijani girls and women who are engaged in a concrete initiative in favour of gender equality in one of the following fields are welcome to send their application:
- Promotion of women leadership in politics or business
- Promotion of creative women in art and culture
- Promotion of the role of women in conflict resolution and peace-building process
- Fight against Gender-based violence
- Questioning Gender-based stereotypes
The laureate will be awarded a one month study trip to France to take part in a high quality educational training program in the field of human rights (Summer School at Sciences Po-Paris Campus).
