Although there are more than 15 different ethnic communities in Azerbaijan, we are not very familiar with the artists from those communities. One of these communities is the Udi community, the successors of the Caucasian Albanians. Although they live mainly in the village of Nij in Azerbaijan, in the city of Oghuz, as well as in the village of Zinobiani in Georgia, they live in Russia, Ukraine and other countries as well. These are everyone’s favourite old Azerbaijani songs in the new guise. The album consists of the songs which are directly linked to the elements of nature (Water, Fire, Earth, Air), with each song being great in its own way. While choosing the songs, I particularly picked the ones that are spiritually close to me. My aim is to encourage our young generation to listen to our old songs, because they are exceptional.
