Elshan Baba was born in Guba region, the village of Alpan, Azerbaijan in 1993. The photographer moved to Baku in 2011 due to his education, graduated from the Energy Faculty of the Azerbaijan Technical University and his profession is engineering. As an amateur artist, he drew caricatures for several years, and in 2013 began to take photos, as well as working as a photojournalist for one of the local editorial office.
He is also currently working as an artist and photographer with his father, mother and his girlfriend on a small family business called “Kunc”, which they design and sell various flower pots made of concrete.
“I feel that a person is always in search of something. The desire to test everything, to experiment, motivates a person to discover many things. My works, what I do allows me to make a positive difference in people’s lives. ”
The photos of the “Connection” project were taken in 2015-2017. The connection in the project is based on lines and objects that visually follow and complete each other.
